If your home has an older gas or oil fired furnace, chances are pretty good that you are spending way too much to heat your home.  In fact, if your furnace is more than twenty years old, the energy savings from installing a new furnace could pay for the furnace in five to ten years, depending on usage.   Today’s high efficiency gas furnaces require a completely different venting system than the chimney vented model you most likely have.  Unfortunately, not all homes are set up in a way to enable the high efficiency furnaces to be installed.
